Job Description - Data Center Technician Location: Hermiston Job Title Data Center Technician Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Technician to support daily operations in a fast-paced data center environment. The candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting servers, network devices, and hardware infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers and hardware components Perform rack and stack activities in the data center Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues Replace faulty hardware components such as RAM, hard drives, and power supplies Manage cable connections and maintain proper cable organization Support network devices, switches, and connectivity troubleshooting Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks Maintain documentation for hardware inventory and technical activities Follow data center safety and security procedures Coordinate with
Requirements
Do you have experience in Stacking?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, remote teams and vendors for issue resolution Required Skills Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking Understanding of servers, storage devices, and operating systems Experience with troubleshooting hardware issues Knowledge of cable management and rack installation Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in shifts if required Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or certification in IT, Computer Science, or related field Experience in data center operations or technical support Knowledge of Linux or Windows Server environments is a plus CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications preferred Experience 3-5 years of experience in Data Center Support, IT Support, or Hardware Technician role
