Security, Quality & Team Collaboration

  • Build systems with security as a first-class concern, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and audit logging
  • Ensure systems meet fintech regulatory and compliance requirements

Requirements

Do you have experience in Test automation?, * Proven experience integrating a smaller-product SaaS into large enterprise environments (e.g., fintech startup integrating with major banks or card networks).

  • Direct experience with open-banking style integrations - ideally FDX (preferred); otherwise experience with UK/EU open banking, or large financial integrations.
  • Hands-on responsibility for building an integration layer that connects core product to client systems and APIs.
  • Strong communicator who leads technical conversations, coordinates with client-side engineers, and takes ownership through delivery.

Core experience

  • 7+ years professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in either Python, Go.
  • Hands-on production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience scaling and performance-tuning container-based applications.
  • Solid understanding of the full SDLC and modern development toolchains (CI/CD, monitoring, logging, deployment automation).
  • Familiarity with API design, microservices patterns, and distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of caching patterns and strategies.
  • Test-driven development and test automation experience.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Additional desirable experience

  • Prior work at a software company that delivered integrations for large enterprise clients.
  • Comfortable working directly with enterprise technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience navigating security, compliance, and operational requirements for financial integrations.
  • Experience documenting integration patterns, runbooks, and onboarding guides for clients.
