Job description

Drive the reliability and improvement of transaction filtering systems as a DevOps Engineer. You contribute to building and maintaining new applications while ensuring the current system remains stable and secure in a complex IT landscape. You work in a squad improving monitoring, automation, and lifecycle management, supporting analysts with high-quality alerts., * Improving a complex application landscape while keeping the current system stable during migration to new screening solutions.

  • Optimising monitoring quality and performance issues across mission-critical applications.
  • Automating deployment and testing processes to increase reliability and reduce manual effort.

Requirements

Help protect millions of transactions by improving screening systems with 3+ years experience in a mission-critical environment., * Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience.
  • You have an eye for Security, Vulnerability Management, and (Azure) Compliance.
  • Experience on improving the quality of monitoring (e.g. Splunk, Dynatrace, SignalFX, Grafana).
  • Strong scripting and automation skills and executing key testing activities, including Security Testing, Disaster Recovery Testing, and High Availability Testing.
  • Experience working with Rest APIs.
  • Understanding of API security, authentication (certificates) and integration patterns.
  • Proven experience in high-availability, mission-critical environments.
  • Experience with Azure products and development (more specific: Azure DevOps and CI/CD);
  • Experience with Linux (e.g.RHEL) and infrastructure-related knowledge;
  • Experience with certificates, Ansible, databases/SQL (e.g. Oracle);
  • Experience with Jboss;
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and lifecycle management.
  • You are a pro-active team player, hands-on, solution driven and show a sense of ownership.
  • You believe in process automation as a crucial part of service delivery.
  • You are a Critical Thinker and always investigate for the Root Cause.

  • Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 4,931 and EUR 7,043 (scale 09) for a 36-hour work week.
