Job description
An experienced, proactive, and collaborative Integration Architect to join our client's Enterprise Integration team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of various Integration solutions across a major financial institution. Working within a central integration steering group, you will contribute directly to innovation, standardization, and cross-team collaboration to enhance integration solutions for both internal and external stakeholders., As an Integration Architect, you are responsible for defining, guiding, and reviewing integration architectures that support the client's modern digital landscape. You will act as a trusted advisor, championing best practices and ensuring that integration implementations are secure, robust, and aligned with enterprise-wide standards., * Architectural Guidance: Lead architectural meetings, review and approve integration architectures and specifications, and promote adherence to established integration patterns.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with enterprise architectural standards and guidelines, conducting regular reviews to maintain high quality and consistency across all integration implementations.
- Knowledge Development: Monitor emerging integration patterns and technologies (including AI), gather insights, and share your findings with the wider technology group to keep the organization at the forefront of market developments.
- Process Improvements: Analyze existing processes surrounding integration offerings and proactively design and implement improvements where needed.
- Stakeholder Management: Identify key stakeholders, build and maintain strong relationships, understand their business needs, and guide them towards optimal, preferred integration solutions.
Requirements
Do you have experience in XML?, * Proven background in architecture development, technical consultancy, or enterprise-scale integration.
- Strong knowledge of integration design principles and patterns, specifically REST, SOAP, Events, and MCP.
- Hands-on experience enabling Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and REST resource modeling.
- Solid understanding of API Gateways, API Proxies, MCP Gateways/proxies, and Event streaming/topics.
- Comprehensive understanding of API artifacts (such as OAS, XML, WSDL) and standard security protocols (including mTLS and OAuth).
- Demonstrated ability to formulate, document, and enforce clear integration guidelines, standards, and industry best practices., * Influential Communicator: Excellent communication skills with the confidence to speak up, influence, and negotiate effectively within senior leadership and technical teams.
