Job description
In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and reliable software delivery. You will automate processes, manage infrastructure, and build CI/CD pipelines to speed up development and deployment. By integrating tools, monitoring systems, and fostering collaboration between teams, you will help the organization deliver high-quality software faster and with greater stability.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, · Hold a relevant professional qualification, engineering/numerate degree, or equivalent experience.
· Hold a minimum of 3 years' experience in the software industry, ideally delivering infrastructure.
· Experience with process-driven approaches (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
· Cloud / Kubernetes certifications a plus
Skills and Abilities:

· The ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
· Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise, manage personal time and productivity.
· The ability to work with others as well as work independently to achieve effective outcomes.
· Follow established infrastructure standards.
Essential Experience:
· 2+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering role.
· Experience building and maintaining automated pipelines using Jenkins and version control tools like Bitbucket or GitHub.
· Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure using Terraform or similar tooling.
· Experience with cloud solutions Azure, AWS-as well as private cloud environments.
· Strong proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Linux-based environments.
· Strong scripting skills in languages like Python or Bash to automate repetitive operational tasks.
Desirable Experience:
· Experience configuring and using Prometheus and Grafana (or equivalent tools like DataDog)
· Experience of data platforms (Postgres and MongoDB)
· Experience deploying and managing workloads in Kubernetes and Docker.
· Experience automating and orchestrating workloads for large-scale enterprise organizations
· Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including information, data, and cyber security principles (e.g., secret management, vulnerability scanning), * hands on DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering: 2 years (required)
