Job description

The Software Engineer will leverage specialized technical expertise to contribute to a team dedicated to the development, maintenance, and support of in-scope software services, including the implementation of appropriate automation solutions., * Apply an Engineering Mindset: Collaborate within the software development team, aligning with existing products and defined strategy. Clearly define technical requirements, provide accurate effort estimates and technical input, and ensure successful project delivery within established cost, time, and quality standards.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective technical and business discussions. Produce comprehensive and clear technical documentation. Contribute to and execute against the team's engineering roadmap.
  • Service and Security Assurance: Ensure all software testing and development adheres to technology objectives related to service reliability and security. Actively champion service and security best practices across all initiatives.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively participate in the defined development methodology, ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders. Build and maintain strong working relationships internally and with external third-party providers as required.
  • Methodology Leadership: Serve as Scrum Master when required.
  • Software Quality and Delivery: Develop and implement high-quality, maintainable software solutions, prioritizing simplicity and testability. Utilize Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), where applicable, to inform software design and reduce code complexity. Advocate for Technical Design principles concerning software quality, design patterns, and the automation of delivery pipelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively engage in skills development to support evolving technological landscapes and drive personal career growth.
