Job description

This is a busy and rewarding role supporting Children's and Family Services through administration, coordination, staff supervision, and customer support duties.

Duties Include:

  • Providing administrative support to specialist teams
  • Supporting children, young people and families with a high level of customer care
  • Managing records, reports, spreadsheets and databases
  • Arranging meetings, taking minutes and sending documentation
  • Supporting managers with complaints, FOIs and investigations
  • Maintaining diaries, rotas and contact arrangements
  • Liaising with internal teams, partner agencies and external organisations
  • Supervising staff, carrying out reviews and supporting absence management
  • Handling financial administration including BACS payments and budgets
  • Ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Supervising experience?, Do you have a NVQ?, * NVQ Level 2 Business Administration (or equivalent experience)

  • Previous experience in administration and coordination roles
  • Experience supervising staff
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
  • Experience within Children's Services or multi-agency environments is desirable
  • DBS check may be required due to the nature of the role, * Administrative: 3 years (preferred)
  • Customer service: 3 years (preferred)
  • Supporting children, young people and families: 2 years (preferred)
  • Minute taking: 3 years (preferred)
  • Diary management: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • NVQ Level 2 Business Administration or equivalent (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • DBS Check (preferred)

  • Monday to Friday
  • Hours discussed at interview stage
  • £13.91 per hour
  • Weekly pay via agency!
