Job description
DCCA is looking for TS/SCI w/Polygraph cleared Junior to Mid-Level Systems Administrators with Linux and Windows experience! We have multiple positions open in the Fort Meade/Annapolis Junction area.

Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.

Manage IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.

Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.

Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.

Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.

Configure and manage Linux, UNIX and Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshooting, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Optimize system operations and resources utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning

Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
Requirements

Must have experience supporting multiple operating systems, such as Linux, UNIX and/or Windows environments.

Experience with virtualization (to include VMware specifically)

Some scripting experience
-
IT troubleshooting experience
-
Interest/desire in learning new skills/technologies
Desired Skills:
-
Familiarity with networking concepts, or a background in network administration is a plus

Storage-Netapp/EMC

NiFi
-
Ability to create/write scripts and modify existing scripts - bash, perl, shell, python, etc.

Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification

Experience working in a customer service/Tier 1/Tier 2 environment

Dataflow experience
Required Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience; or 10 years of experience as a System Administrator without a degree.
Benefits & conditions
The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is 118,000 to 152,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
