Job description
The individual in this position serves as a Technology Coordinator located at MedStar in DC. The Telehealth Technology Coordinator (TTC) supports the efficiency, ease of use and reliability of telehealth and other connected care programs that occur in or originate from a MedStar facility.

The TTC will bring telehealth devices to a patient's bedside and facilitate such activities as teleconsultation with remote providers (e.g. palliative care, hepatologists, intensivists, ethics), inpatient remote rounding, family video visits with or without the care team, virtual interpreting services, post discharge remote monitoring and all other current/future inpatient telehealth related initiatives.

TTC's will also work with Information Services to track, troubleshoot, manage and maintain telehealth devices, ensuring optimal patient & staff experience.

This position works with hospital leadership, including the CNO, VPMA, CNIO & Director of Patient Experience.

This position also works closely with, as well as under the direction of the MedStar Telehealth Innovation Center leadership, in strategic planning, creating and implementing patient experience initiatives, optimizing administrative and clinical telehealth-related workflows, and helping with growth projects on behalf of MTIC.

Position will have data entry/support responsibilities and in person patient interaction!

Supports the efficiency, ease of use and reliability of telehealth and other connected care programs that occur in or originate from a MedStar Health facility. Provides prompt, professional, compassionate patient and consumer support. In collaboration with the care team, coordinates and manages efficient patient flow using telemedicine practices. Requirements

MUST HAVE: 1-3 years of medical administrative, medical receptionist, or something related! Must be able to work a part time shift on the weekends!! This position will be anywhere from 25-35 hours per week. They are looking for someone that can work Saturdays and Sundays and other shifts as needed so need to be somewhat flexible if possible.

Also open to anyone with a recent bachelor's degree, any technical experience, strong call center or customer service experience preferred with healthcare experience!, Associates Degree Preferred not required
-tech savvy with ALL Microsoft Suite such as word, excel, outlook, etc.
-Comfortable in a Patient Facing role as they will have to go into rooms and meet with patients. They will have the proper PPE so that shouldn't be a problem

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
