Job description
Seeking a hands-on Network Technician to support a large, active Ubiquiti UniFi deployment that is still under construction and rollout. This role focuses on execution and support, including on-site and office-based work. This is not a design or engineering role.
Responsibilities

Install, replace, and support UniFi access points, switches, and related hardware

Perform rack/stack, patching, labeling, and cleanup in MDF/IDF spaces

Verify device connectivity, status, and basic configuration against standards

Troubleshoot common issues such as offline devices, cabling problems, PoE issues, and link failures

Support cutovers, activations, and site walk-throughs

Work from drawings, port schedules, and task lists

Document completed work and escalate issues as needed

Assist with office-based tasks including staging, labeling, inventory, and prep

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and low-voltage teams

Smooth coordination between field and office teams
Requirements
Hands-on experience with Ubiquiti UniFi hardware

Working knowledge of Ethernet networking fundamentals

Basic understanding of VLAN and PoE concepts

Comfortable working on active or unfinished job sites

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standards

Reliable transportation and consistent availability - Structured cabling experience (Cat6/Cat6A, basic fiber awareness)

Experience with large or phased deployments

MSP or commercial IT project background

Familiarity with UniFi Protect or Access
