Job description

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) powers Oracle's global cloud services through highly available, large-scale, enterprise-grade data center environments. The Data Center Infrastructure Operations / Facilities team plays a critical role in sustaining OCI's performance, security, and operational resilience by ensuring infrastructure systems operate reliably at scale., As a Site Deployment Specialist - BMS, you will deliver BMS deployments for new and retrofit facilities, ensuring reliable monitoring, control, and alarm functionality in hyperscale environments. You will coordinate vendors and internal teams through design, build, commissioning, and turnover, with strong attention to security, standards, and operational usability., + Own BMS deployment execution across requirements, design coordination, vendor management, installation oversight, testing, commissioning support, and go-live stabilization.

  • Define and validate BMS sequences and strategies supporting high availability across HVAC and critical infrastructure monitoring.

  • Integrate BMS with adjacent platforms such as DCIM, OT/IT networks, and site monitoring/automation systems.

  • Provide escalation-level troubleshooting for complex integration and commissioning issues; document root causes and corrective actions.

  • Establish and maintain BMS standards for naming, alarming, trend requirements, response expectations, and cybersecurity controls.

  • Produce turnover documentation and support training to ensure operational adoption and consistent use.

Requirements

  • Experience deploying BMS/EMS/SCADA at scale for large facilities (data centers, industrial, healthcare, semiconductor, etc.).

  • Knowledge of building controls protocols (BACnet/Modbus and similar) and third-party system integration.

  • Experience working with major controls vendors (e.g., Siemens/Schneider/JCI/Honeywell) and code/compliance requirements.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong commissioning mindset: test plans, validation, punch management, and documentation rigor.

  • Ability to coordinate across vendors and internal teams without losing technical control.

  • Security-aware approach to OT systems and standards compliance.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
