Job description

We are actively recruiting a highly proactive Azure DevOps Platform Administrator & CI/CD Engineer to support mission-critical, enterprise-scale public sector application suites and ongoing cloud modernization initiatives. This role focuses heavily on providing architectural direction, environment fortification, and process optimization across Azure DevOps Services and GitHub Enterprise. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical maturity in secure cloud operations, identity management, and automated pipeline delivery within highly regulated, policy-driven infrastructure frameworks., * Exposure or foundational skill sets regarding modern AI platforms and developer efficiency tools, specifically GitHub Copilot.

  • Prior application development familiarity within modern ecosystems (such as .NET, Java, or Node.js)., * Hours & Schedule: Stable 40-hour work week. Standard operational hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Eastern Time). Regular hours include a 1-hour lunch break (exact timing negotiable).
  • Holidays & Overtime: Time off aligns with standard public-sector regional holiday calendars. Any requests for overtime hours or holiday coverage must be accompanied by strict business justification and clear prior managerial approval.
  • STRICT HYBRID LOGISTICS (HARRISBURG, PA)
  • Months 1 through 3: Mandatory on-site presence is required every Wednesday and Thursday at the headquarters hub in Harrisburg, PA (Zip: 17120). Daily hours for on-site days run from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (featuring a 30-minute lunch break).
  • Month 4 through Contract End: The requirement reduces to a minimum of 1 day per month in-office (specifically the first Wednesday of every consecutive month).
  • Logistics Caveat: The internal management team reserves the right to modify or scale the telework rotation schedule at any point based on project delivery milestones or critical operational meeting cycles.
  • Technical Workspace Requirement: When teleworking, resources are legally obligated to maintain a dedicated, private, and highly secure high-speed internet connection. Resources unable to maintain these compliance guidelines will be expected to report full-time to the physical offices in Harrisburg.

Requirements

Do you have experience in YAML?, * 5+ Years of Dedicated Azure DevOps Experience: Proven hands-on track record operating simultaneously as both an infrastructure developer and a platform administrator.

  • Enterprise Platform Mastery: Advanced proficiency across the entire Azure DevOps Services stack (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Test Plans).
  • GitHub Enterprise Cloud/Server Administration: Comprehensive experience managing organizations, repository standards, teams, fine-grained permissions, and secure SSO/identity integrations.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Solid, practical understanding of infrastructure automation tools, specifically Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
  • Automated CI/CD Engineering: Deep expertise in building secure, complex Manual and YAML-based pipelines using both Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
  • Core Scripting Proficiency: Strong capability in writing and maintaining production-grade PowerShell scripts.
  • Azure Service Ecosystem Integration: Direct experience integrating deployment workflows with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage, and AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
  • Regulated Environments: Past performance supporting systems bound by strict compliance baselines, change control boards, and formalized security control frameworks (e.g., ATO processes, identity reviews, and vulnerability mitigation)., * Distinct analytical capabilities and structured approach to debugging multi-layered pipeline blockages.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively alongside cross-functional development squads, cybersecurity units, and government agency stakeholders.
  • Dedication to mission-focused, civic-oriented technical solutions.
  • Excellent technical documentation habits and ability to mentor junior engineering personnel.
