We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Avaya Technician - Tier 3 to join our dynamic technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of Avaya communication systems, ensuring seamless telephony and network operations for our clients. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service by resolving complex issues efficiently and supporting the overall health of telecommunication infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge communication technology in a fast-paced environment, making a real impact on our clients' connectivity and productivity., * Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of Avaya telephony systems, including VoIP solutions and related hardware components.
- Install, configure, and upgrade Avaya equipment along with associated network hardware such as Cisco routers, Juniper devices, and Ethernet switches.
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately install and maintain telecommunication infrastructure.
- Conduct fiber splicing, cabling (Cat5, Cat6), and low voltage wiring for network and telephony systems in various environments including data centers.
- Support field service activities by installing equipment at client sites, performing routine maintenance, and resolving escalated issues promptly.
- Collaborate with customers to provide excellent service, explain technical solutions clearly, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout project lifecycle.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters, power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment to verify system integrity and troubleshoot electrical or network faults.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Customer communication?, * Proven service technician experience with Avaya systems or similar telecommunications platforms.
- Strong background in computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN configurations, Ethernet cabling (Cat5/Cat6), and network installation procedures.
- Hands-on experience with fiber splicing, electrical wiring standards (NEC), and low voltage system installation.
- Knowledge of telecommunication equipment repair, power tools operation, and electrical safety protocols.
- Previous work in data centers or large-scale network environments is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to clients.
