Job description
You step into ownership. You move fast and take responsibility for what you build. You focus on work that matters, not on noise that slows things down. You'll balance hands-on engineering with shared support responsibilities-designing and improving systems while staying close to end-user needs and outcomes. You'll also navigate and influence cross-functional stakeholders, aligning different perspectives into clear, actionable solutions.
What you'll do (and what you won't)
- You own Google Workspace, GCP, and Slack environments end-to-end
- You operate and optimize systems within a complex SaaS ecosystem
- You translate business requirements into scalable, practical technical solutions
- You lead and deliver IT projects from scoping through implementation
- You influence cross-functional stakeholders, aligning competing needs into clear decisions
- You contribute to team-wide support, helping resolve employee IT needs
- You balance engineering improvements with responsive, high-quality support
- You build systems, processes, and documentation that scale
Requirements
Do you have experience in Slack?, Experience: 5-7 years overall experience, including 3+ years administrating complex Google Workspace and GCP environments
Own cloud IT operations and help drive scalable, secure, and high-performing internal systems.
This isn't a lateral move. We built Loop by going all in from day one. You'll own and evolve a modern, cloud-first IT environment, operating in a complex SaaS ecosystem and translating business needs into scalable technical solutions while keeping systems reliable and secure. All yours. If you've mastered Google-first environments and you're ready to break the rules that no longer work, this is where you do it., We look for people who think big, stay curious, and aren't afraid to go all in to make things happen. You'll combine strong Google ecosystem expertise with the ability to influence without authority-navigating different opinions, shaping decisions, and driving outcomes. You'll prioritize end-user experience over rigidity, while adapting quickly in environments that aren't fully structured., * You bring 5-7 years of experience in IT, including 3+ years in complex Google Workspace and GCP environments
- Deep, hands-on expertise in Google Workspace administration (identity, access, security, automation) and GCP
- Experience operating in complex, multi-tool SaaS environments
- Proven ability to manage and deliver IT projects end-to-end, including vendor management and procurement
- Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and capabilities
- Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and aligning different opinions, needs, and expectations
- Excellent people skills - approachable, empathetic, and a strong listener
- Strong customer-service mindset with a focus on end-user experience
- You balance engineering depth with a willingness to stay hands-on in support when needed
- You adapt quickly and don't get frustrated when requirements evolve or change
- You're comfortable operating in environments that aren't fully structured or where best practices are still evolving
- You work independently and know when to involve others
- You're comfortable with change and ambiguity
- You know when work is ready to ship, and when it can evolve
- You want your work to matter, not just exist
Loop isn't for everyone. We might not be a match if you:
- Wait for direction instead of taking initiative
- Mistake activity for impact
- Feel uneasy when things are still taking shape
- Prefer alignment meetings over decisions
Still listening?
