Job description

We're looking for a dynamic, proactive IT Technician to be the frontline of support for our clients' IT infrastructure. You'll ensure the seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems - troubleshooting issues efficiently, maintaining optimal performance, and delivering exceptional service to both technical and non-technical users. This role offers real variety, real responsibility, and a clear path to grow as KellTech expands., * Provide remote and on-site technical support to business clients across Central Florida; remote support for clients outside the area

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows, macOS, and mobile operating systems - including hardware, software, and network-related problems
  • Support and maintain client network infrastructure: switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, VPNs, DNS, TCP/IP, and LAN/WAN configurations
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoints using RMM tooling (NinjaOne, etc.) and support software deployment and updates
  • Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD) for user account management, licensing, and access control; experience with Active Directory and Group Policy is a plus
  • Manage computer hardware assets - installations, upgrades, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and execute project work (network deployments, migrations, infrastructure upgrades) as the business grows
  • Document client environments, support tickets, and completed work clearly and thoroughly in our PSA/ticketing system
  • Communicate directly with clients - including non-technical stakeholders - in a professional, clear, and reassuring manner

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in macOS?, * CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent demonstrated hands-on IT support experience

  • Strong Windows troubleshooting skills across desktop and, ideally, server environments
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall basics)
  • Familiarity with help desk ticketing or RMM/PSA platforms (NinjaOne, ConnectWise, or similar)
  • Ability to analyze technical issues efficiently and explain solutions clearly to non-technical users
  • Reliable, self-directed, detail-oriented, flexible, and punctual
  • Valid Florida driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications (MCITP, MD-102, etc.)
  • Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certification/experience
  • Experience with managed switches and VLAN networking
  • Microsoft 365 / Entra ID (Azure AD) administration experience
  • MSP or multi-client support background
  • Exposure to Linux distributions
  • Apple / Mac support experience
  • Home lab, self-study projects, or active personal IT learning
