Job description

  • Administer and support Platform-as-a-Service components, including Kubernetes clusters in a Linux environment.
  • Develop scripts using Bash and Python.
  • Utilize Docker for containerization.
  • Administer and monitor Kubernetes clusters, troubleshoot issues, and apply IaC principles with Ansible.
  • Deploy and maintain Helm Charts.
  • Manage source code with Git.
  • Work with JIRA and Confluence in a DevOps environment using Agile principles.
  • Employ Prometheus and Grafana for system monitoring.
  • Develop Python applications, including Restful Web Services.
  • Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software., * Administer, maintain, and provide operational support for Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) components, specifically Kubernetes clusters within a Linux-based infrastructure.
  • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security compliance, and optimal cluster performance in support of mission and application requirements.
  • Utilize Linux CLI and tools, and develop scripts using Bash/Python.
  • Work with containerization technologies such as Docker/Podman.
  • Administer and monitor Kubernetes clusters, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to workloads (ingress, performance, networking, storage, etc.).
  • Apply IaC principles, concepts, and methodologies using automation tools including Ansible.
  • Write, deploy, and maintain Helm Charts.
  • Manage source code with Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration.
  • Collaborate in a DevOps environment using Agile principles and methodologies, leveraging tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Employ system monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Develop Python applications (REST services, microservices) or demonstrate willingness to learn.
  • Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software.
  • CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification is desired.

  • Total Compensation: $227k+ yearly
