  • Troubleshoot software problems across operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Manage computer hardware assets, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, ensuring proper setup and maintenance.
  • Configure and maintain computer networks such as LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), and firewalls like Meraki to ensure secure connectivity.
  • Support IT infrastructure components including Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server environments, DNS configurations, TCP/IP protocols, and network administration tasks.
  • Assist with desktop support tasks such as installing software via SCCM or GPO policies, updating operating systems, and managing computer hardware upgrades.
  • Monitor network performance and security using tools like BMC Remedy or ServiceNow to identify issues proactively and implement solutions swiftly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in providing IT support within a help desk or technical support environment.
  • Strong knowledge of troubleshooting software issues across multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Hands-on experience with computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN management, VPN setup, firewall configuration (e.g., Meraki), and network security best practices.
  • Familiarity with managing computer hardware components and deploying software using SCCM or GPO policies.
  • Experience supporting mobile devices and operating systems in a corporate setting.
  • Ability to analyze technical problems quickly using analysis skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
