Job description

You will work with the Cybersecurity organization to deliver on critical cybersecurity program/project initiatives that defend and protect Client's technology. You will be responsible for controlling and managing schedules, monitoring costs, and driving technical performance of components and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the program/project is achieved. Furthermore, you will be responsible for stakeholder management, whether internal or external to the organization. You'll join a highly motivated team, full of the brightest minds in the country, coming together to work on enhancing cybersecurity and reducing or eliminating risks. In addition, you'll work for the largest Fintech on the planet - a place that will appreciate your hard work and efforts. The Program Manager will interact with multiple organizations across the company to ensure program/project initiatives designed to protect Client's technology and reputation are adopted and successfully executed for our clients. You're the kind of person who can:

  • Ensure project methodologies, project delivery processes, and implementation management processes are followed. This includes managing and driving:
  • Program Schedule; Risk and Issue Management; Scope Change Management
  • Oversee and manage the program budget. This includes understanding and validating estimates, cost variance tracking, and managing project resources effectively for all projects underneath.
  • Provide clear and concise communication, both written and verbal, to multiple levels of the company.
  • Facilitate/manage stakeholder, client, and program level team expectations.
  • Make complex decisions and recommendations under limited direction and using high degree of initiative and independent judgment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; 8-10 years of project management experience; and 5 years of program management experience managing the full lifecycle for multiple initiatives within a global enterprise, collaborating with cross-functional teams across international locations
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially with Microsoft Project
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in the written form) in a collaborative and self-directed manner with project and program team members/stakeholders in developing and maintaining appropriate project and program artifacts (e.g. dashboards, status report, stakeholder register, communication plan)
  • Proven success in delivering programs/projects within budget and specified timeframes, while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Proven problem-solving skills from problem assessment to solution selection; Ability to identify alternatives and make contingency plans
  • Ability to quickly establish and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders to ensure valid vision and ability to deliver value consistent with the vision and business strategy this project or program is a part of
  • Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to handle multiple programs, projects, and other work assigned
  • Perform duties under limited supervision, applying a broad knowledge of program/project management principles, practices, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Experience managing Cybersecurity, Application Development, and Infrastructure programs
  • 10 years successful experience large projects; 5-10 years managing programs
  • Experience working in Cybersecurity
  • Working knowledge of Clarity PPM
  • Working knowledge of JIRA
  • Financial Services industry experience
