Job description
Insight Global is searching for a ERP Engineer for a Healthcare employer in the Baltimore, MD area. This role is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the server, database, and integration infrastructure supporting ERP and related business systems to ensure high availability, performance, security, and recoverability. It serves as the infrastructure-level technical escalation point for ERP issues beyond application support, managing servers, databases, networks, integrations, SSL certificates, patching, backups, and disaster recovery while coordinating closely with IS, HRIS, and ERP teams. The role plans and executes maintenance and change control activities, provides infrastructure input for vendor upgrades and implementations, supports testing of system enhancements, and maintains comprehensive technical documentation. It also stays current on relevant technologies and actively participates in daily ticket triage to ensure infrastructure-related requests are addressed and routed appropriately.
Requirements
At least 4-5 years of relevant experience supporting ERP (Workday and/or Infor) platforms in either an on-premises or cloud-hosted environment.
- Strong experience with relational database administration, including SQL Server or Oracle
- Strong Experience supporting or participating in a migration from on-premises ERP infrastructure to a cloud-hosted platform
- Strong experience with SSO and identify provider configuration including ADFS and SAML
- Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Director (AD) administration
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting work in a healthcare-base or hospital organization
- Experience working in EPIC supporting systems work
- Holds active: o Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Certification o Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Certification o Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) Certification o AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate Certification o ITIL Foundation Certification
