Job description

The Sefas operations in France will be moving to a location closer to Paris. This role will require 2 days per week on-site., We are seeking a motivated IT Administrator to support our France region as part of Messagepoint's global IT team. This role will serve as the primary local IT contact for end-user support, office technology, device management, and regional IT operations, while working closely with the North America-based IT team to ensure consistent systems, processes, and security standards.

The successful candidate will provide both onsite and remote support, manage local IT assets and vendors, assist with onboarding and offboarding, and contribute to ongoing IT, systems, and security initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical support experience who wants to grow into broader IT administration, systems, and security responsibilities within a global organization., * Serve as the primary IT contact for the France region, supporting end-user technology needs both onsite and remotely.

  • Provide front-line support for hardware, operating systems, applications, mobile devices, peripherals, network connectivity, and SaaS/cloud services.
  • Support users in the France office and, when required, remote users across the global organization.
  • Document incidents and service requests in the ticketing system, manage tickets through to resolution, and escalate when appropriate.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding, including device provisioning, account/access setup, equipment recovery, and decommissioning.
  • Maintain accurate local IT asset records, including hardware, software, and license inventory.
  • Support office IT infrastructure, including network equipment, printers, meeting room technology, and other workplace systems.
  • Act as the onsite liaison for local vendors and service providers, including internet providers, hardware suppliers, and office technology partners.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation and knowledge base content for regional and global IT practices.
  • Assist with device lifecycle management, system performance improvements, equipment maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing in coordination with the global IT team.
  • Provide regular updates to the Director, IT & Security Officer and collaborate closely with the broader IT team across time zones.

Security & Growth Responsibilities:

  • Support and enforce corporate IT security standards in the France region, aligned with global policies and applicable European requirements such as GDPR.
  • Support endpoint security tools, including anti-virus/XDR, MFA, MDM, and mobile device security.
  • Assist with patch management, vulnerability remediation, endpoint compliance, and security incident response.
  • Monitor and respond to IT security alerts, escalating incidents to the global IT & Security team as required.
  • Support security awareness, compliance initiatives, and consistent implementation of identity, access, and data protection controls.
  • Develop skills in advanced troubleshooting across systems, networking, cloud services, and security operations., Works under the mentorship of the Manager, IT & Security Analyst, who serves as senior and escalation point for day-to-day operations.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, * Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support or IT administration in a multi-technology environment.

  • Strong desktop support experience with Windows 10/11, macOS, mobile devices, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory or Azure AD/Entra ID, and SaaS/cloud applications.
  • Familiarity with endpoint management and security tools such as Intune, MDM, and endpoint protection platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting office IT infrastructure, including printers, meeting room technology, and local networking equipment.
  • Strong customer service, communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently as the primary regional IT resource while collaborating effectively with a remote global team.
  • Fluency in French and professional working proficiency in English, written and spoken, is required.
  • Familiarity with European data protection and privacy standards, including GDPR, is an asset.
  • Exposure to PowerShell, SharePoint, or endpoint security tools is a plus.
  • Interest in information security and related certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Security, would be an asset.
  • Technical degree or equivalent combination of certifications and experience.
