Job description
- Integrate models and simulations into a common simulation framework and scene generation environment, develop new models based on physics and math concepts, and perform detailed analysis of model and system performance.
- Analyzes existing systems and defines, designs and develops new system requirements. Determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
- Ccoordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies.
Requirements
Torch Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Systems Engineer to support the development, integration, and analysis of tactical missile systems models and simulations on Redstone Arsenal., * US Citizenship.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2 years system design experience, including hardware/software integration experience.
- Experience with MATLAB, C++, Python, Fortran, or other programming languages.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as an individual.
- Candidates should be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience presenting technical findings and analysis results.
- Basic understanding of missile kinematics.
- Experience with IR and/or RF sensor phenomenology and target signatures.
- Experience developing or integrating all-digital simulations and models.
- Experience devising and executing Monte Carlo, statistical, and sensitivity studies.
