Architectural Designer Level II

Metis Construction is currently seeking an emerging professional with 5 years minimum experience to fill a key role within our growing Architectural Design Department.This position will report directly to the Lead Architect and work under the direction of a Project Architect. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD and competent working independently during the construction documents phase of a project. Our Design Department is a collaborative environment striving to provide the best solutions for our clients. We work hard but also like to have fun in the process.

Full-time, part-time or contract work will be considered.

Essential Accountabilities:

• Code research
• Assist in programming and design
• Production of Construction Documents, including coordination with Engineers
• Construction support for the Metis construction team
• Production of presentations

Do you have experience in Project team coordination?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * A minimum of 5 years experience in preparing Construction Documents required.

• Ability to coordinate with Engineers
• Professional degree in Architecture preferred, BS in Architecture accepted. Professional license not required.
• Team oriented

Preferred:

• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, SketchUp is a plus., * Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• AutoCAD: 5 years (Required)
• Preparing Construction Documents: 5 years (Required)
• Revit: 5 years (Required)
• Sketchup: 5 years (Preferred)
