Job description
Maintains accurate records of RHCs, fetal demises, and products of conception. Tracks the movement of these cases to areas such as the lab, pathology, morgue and release to coroner or funeral home. Documents whether the case involves eye, organ, or tissue donation, or if a forensic autopsy is required. Ensures all documentation is complete and compliant with relevant regulations. Coordinates with medical staff, lab technicians, morgue personnel, and donation coordinators to ensure smooth transitions. Communicates effectively with all departments involved in the process. Adheres to all legal and ethical guidelines regarding the handling of RHCs, fetal demises, and products of conception. Handles all cases with the utmost sensitivity and respect. Generates and submits reports on the status and location of all cases. Identifies and addresses any discrepancies or issues in the tracking process. Provides administrative support for the dispatch center. Conducts call auditing to ensure quality and compliance. Prepares and maintains the fire drill matrix.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Licensure/Certification
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license at time of hire. Must obtain and maintain a CJIS certification, within 30 days of hire., Customer service experience is essential. Other Qualifications
Must pass a modified background to include criminal history check. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Proficiency in EPIC and/or EMR. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Administrative skills to include faxing, scanning, making & receiving telephone calls, maintaining and updating files & databases.
