Job description
CGI is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will work as a full-time consultant solving meaningful business and technical challenges for local and enterprise clients. You will collaborate with smart, motivated teammates and partner closely with both internal and client stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

This position is located in Nashville, Tennessee in a hybrid work environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
*Engage with business partners to analyze processes, gather requirements, and recommend effective technical solutions
*Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
*Design and implement front-end solutions using React
*Develop and deliver cloud-first software solutions using technologies such as Python, Node.js, .NET, C#, and Java
*Leverage modern cloud-native and serverless architectures, including AWS Lambda
*Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodePipeline and Jenkins
*Collaborate with team members to identify more efficient and effective ways of working
*Support project planning by contributing to task estimation and delivery planning
*Build trusted relationships with business and technical stakeholders
Requirements
*Demonstrated ability to understand business needs, analyze requests, and recommend sound technical solutions
*Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across clients, teammates, managers, and domain experts
*Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
*Desire to grow into a leadership role
*1+ years of hands-on experience with React
*3+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise software solutions using one or more of the following: Python, Node.js, .NET, C#, or Java
*Experience with object-oriented design and development principles
*Understanding of database design principles and SQL
*Exposure to front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Angular, JavaScript, or Vue.js
*Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field
Desired qualifications
*Hands-on experience building cloud-first software solutions in AWS or Azure
*Experience designing and building transactional and reporting data models across database platforms such as AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Redshift, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, SQL Server, or Oracle
*Understanding of cloud principles including autoscaling, serverless, DevOps, infrastructure as code, and containers
*Data engineering experience in ETL, data analytics, or master data management
*Cloud certification such as AWS Certified Developer - Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, + Amazon CloudFront

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 - $139,300.00.
