Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled I.T. Infrastructure Manager.
- Support with managing systems across 35+ medical clinics.
- Support and manage specialized healthcare systems (dental, optometry, imaging/X-ray/ultrasound, pharmacy, and medical applications). Some of the systems include: eClinicalworks, Dexis, Canon Eye Vision, Paxcera, Hologic Mammography GE Ultrasound, Dicom, Pioneer RX.
- Maintain professional client relationships; configure workstations and peripheral devices. Ensure secure, reliable IT systems across clinical, dental, pharmacy, and administrative operations.
- Install, configure, and manage Windows Server, Hyper-V virtualization, and Active Directory. Administer Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (provisioning, licensing, security). Install and organize servers, equipment in rack. Install and mount IT equipment with proper cable management. Run and terminate network cabling in basic configuration.
- Understand network infrastructure (switches, wifi, routers, IP addressing) to communicate trouble with Hosting Vendor with onsite troubleshooting. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Manage NAS storage, backups, and data recovery solutions. Monitor and maintain enterprise antivirus and EDR systems.
- Support NVRs, surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and badge access control systems.
- Coordinate IT needs for renovations, new construction, and staff relocations.
- Assist with VOIP phone setup. Research and innovate new solutions
· Must be able to drive to medical sites Occasional - weekend/after-hours work on special projects or new deployments.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Research?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, · Proven IT systems administration experience, preferably in healthcare.
· Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Hyper-V, and Active Directory.
· Experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
· Solid understanding of networking (IP addressing, switching, routing).
· Experience with NAS and backup/recovery systems.
· Familiarity with rack installation, hardware mounting, and structured cabling.
· Knowledge of enterprise antivirus and endpoint security tools.
· Experience with NVRs, cameras, and access control systems.
· Ability to support specialized medical, dental, and pharmacy systems (or learn quickly).
· Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in IT or related field. Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications (preferred)
· Healthcare IT experience. Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare IT standards.
