Design, implement and evaluate integrated system tests applicable to Leo Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) & Propulsion systems including hardware endpoints.

Develop automated tooling interfacing flight code and ground services to achieve high fidelity tests.

Implement automation scripts and software to used to both execute tests and evaluate test outcomes.

Participate in the design, commissioning and use of specialized hardware in the loop test facilities.

Integrate system tests into software release automated testing pipelines.

Develop test documentation including test process templates and test reports.

Provide feedback and revisions to interface control documents applicable to the GNC and Propulsion department.
Requirements
As a guidance, navigation, and control and propulsion (GNC & Propulsion) integrated systems test engineer, you will support the systems lifecycle of the real-time software that flies the spacecraft from the moment of launch to re-entry. You'll work across the both the GNC & Propulsion department and the broader Leo team to test all phases of the mission. In collaboration with partner teams, you will execute cross-disciplinary product development with a high bar for rigor and technical excellence. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
The right candidate will possess a strong, well-rounded technical background in software, hardware or systems test engineering, with some software and hardware experience. Prior experience with spacecraft or autonomous vehicles is strongly preferred., Bachelor's degree

3+ years experience with testing integrated systems comprising hardware and software elements.

3+ years authoring test procedures and/or test reports.

3+ years automating software, hardware or system tests.

Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
Preferred Qualifications

Experience testing integrated spacecraft or aircraft systems.

Experience developing or utilizing hardware in the loop tests.

Experience developing software or hardware for spacecraft.

Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment test development and/or pipeline creation.
