Job description
· Windows based server administration and related technology such as Hyper-V, Active Directory, Group Policy, data storage, DNS, DHCP etc
· Setup new user accounts, assign permissions, install software etc
· Manage and support the Office 365 suite of products
· Assist and advise Tier 1 technicians on basic support issues
· Manage and troubleshoot small Business networking technology including firewalls, switches and APs, VPN, VLANs etc
· Assist end users with any IT related issue
· Work with MNI management to research and develop new products and solutions to better serve our customers.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Writing skills?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, Miller Network Innovations is seeking an experienced technical support and IT system administrator to be based out of our Moraine headquarters. The position is primarily full time, M-F 8-5. The candidate should be able to do configuration of network equipment, general Windows Server administration and provide end-user support., · Good customer service, writing, and speaking skills
· Self-starter must be able to work and solve problems independently
· Strong familiarity of Microsoft products
· Strong familiarity with Active Directory
· Strong Understanding of core networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, firewall port forwarding etc, VLAN configuration etc.
· Perform configuration of network equipment such as firewalls and wireless access points
· Ability to lift at least 30 pounds and climb stairs or ladders required
· Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check required
· 2-3+ years of experience in an IT help desk, system admin or network technician role preferred.
· Experience configuring, deploying and maintaining Microsoft Azure is a strong plus., * Associate (Preferred)

- Work from home, The position starts with a salary based on $27-31 an hour depending on experience., Position is full time Monday-Friday 8-5. Some evening work may be required for system maintenance activities. IT staff are on rotating afterhours on-call for emergency service. Work is a mix of remote support from our Moraine office and on-site work at customer locations. Full-time staff are eligible for benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance, 401k, occasional work from home and paid time off after 90 days. Starting pay range is a salary based on $27-32 per hour. Pay raises are determined by overall performance and customer satisfaction reports.
Annual bonuses determined by employee performance and longevity with the company as well as MNI's performance as a whole.
Transportation
Reliable transportation required. Company vehicles are provided when available; personal vehicle mileage is reimbursed at the standard IRS rate when used for business purposes. The majority of MNI customers are within 45 minutes of MNI HQ.
