Job description

You and your team will build a new product from the ground up in 3 months. Your team will be small, flat, and cross functional. Help your team bridge the gap between user needs, technical constraints, and business value, merging the necessary elements that make truly excellent products. This is a founder-style environment where roles overlap and evolve. You are expected to bring your specialized skills to bear for your team but prepare to wear as many hats as it takes to get the job done. Individual performance matters, but success is ultimately measured by the progress of your team's startup.

You will:

  • Care about and empathise with the end user.
  • Hit the ground running and begin writing meaningful shipping code by the end of week one, so you will need to have relevant software development experience.
  • Embrace core concepts and design patterns used in modern software engineering, including object-oriented, protocol-oriented, and reactive programming.
  • Review code from peer engineers to promulgate best practices.
  • Communicate development status to stakeholders-technical or otherwise.
  • Learn and leverage relevant new technologies, tools, methods and processes in your development efforts.
  • Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements and constraints for product initiatives and releases.
  • Collaborate with your teammates to prioritise product enhancements based on impact.
  • Communicate development status and document progress toward milestones.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Swift?, * Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or advanced degree from a top-tier university.

  • An entrepreneurial work style, you're a self-starter with a bias towards action.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Experience developing in a high-level programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java, Swift, etc.).
  • Open minded. You know what you don't know and are open to learning new things.
  • Empathetic.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You must be fully available-in London-from 22 June 2026 through 18 September 2026.

Benefits & conditions

  • Competitive compensation scaled to your academic progression and discipline.
  • Opportunities for travel.
  • Social and team-building events.
  • Professional development through mentors, training, and networking.
  • Future opportunities-simplified pathway to employment.
