Job description
This is a full-time Garduate Web Developer role based in Bath, with the flexibility to work one day a week from home. The Developer will be responsible for designing and developing both front-end and back-end web solutions, maintaining and enhancing applications, and ensuring the optimization, performance, and responsiveness of web projects. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver seamless user experiences will be a crucial aspect of this role., * Working collaboratively with the team and with clients to understand requirements and shape solutions
- Developing, building and maintaining high-quality websites, applications and digital platforms
- Taking ownership of solutions, ensuring it meets quality, accessibility and maintainability standards
- Troubleshooting and debugging complex applications across a range of systems and technologies
- Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to other team members
- Maintaining clear, structured documentation for all development activities.
Requirements
Do you have experience in WordPress?, * Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a similar technical field
- Experience working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex issues
- Strong attention to detail and focus on delivering high-quality results
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
- Exposure to modern development workflows (e.g. Agile, Git version control, code reviews)
Desirable experience
- 1-year industrial placement or internship in related field
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g. Angular / Vue / React Native)
- Experience with Laravel or similar PHP frameworks
- Exposure to mySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Docker

Interview Process
Our process consists of two stages and is designed to give you a clear understanding of how we work.
Application review and technical task: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a take-home coding task. This allows you to demonstrate your approach to problem solving, in your own time.
Interview: Successful candidates will be invited to an interview, consisting of two parts:
- A conversation with our Managing Director to discuss your experience and how you approach your work.
- A technical discussion with our Technical Lead, where you'll take us through your coding task and explore your thinking in more detail.
