Job description
The Network Analyst I/II supports the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure. This role assists in ensuring network reliability, performance, and security by monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and supporting day-to-day network operations. Working with technologies such as Cisco, MS Teams and Fortinet equipment, the analyst helps maintain connectivity and collaborates with team members to resolve incidents and support business needs.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
- Familiarity with network design concepts and best practices
- Experience with Cisco network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Exposure to Fortinet firewalls and VPNs
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues in LAN/WAN environments
- Understanding of network security fundamentals (firewalls, VPNs)
- Knowledge of IP addressing and subnetting
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Entry-level or associate certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE 4)
- Basic understanding of network security concepts
- Exposure to scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible)
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with wireless networking and VoIP systems
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Relevant technical training, certifications, or equivalent work experience in networking or IT support
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and equivalent hands-on experience
