Requirements

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with deep experience in Cisco enterprise networking, switch migrations, maintenance-window implementations, and data center operations.

  • Migrate existing port configurations from legacy switches to new Catalyst 9300 hardware\n
  • Perform onsite switch replacements and execute maintenance-window cutovers\n
  • Support migration of network connections from Cisco Nexus 5K environments to new Catalyst 9300 infrastructure\n
  • Assist with staging, validation, and deployment of network hardware\n
  • Coordinate and execute network migration activities tied to approved Change Requests (CRs)\n
  • Support Cisco ACI-connected uplink migration activities\n
  • Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 connectivity issues during implementation and post-cutover validation\n
  • Work closely with internal engineering teams to ensure successful deployment and minimal operational impact\n
  • Document implementation activities, migration procedures, and technical changes\n, * Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts\n
  • Experience working within structured change management processes\n
  • Ability to work onsite and support after-hours maintenance activities when required\n

\n \nPreferred Qualifications\n \n \n \n

  • CCNP or CCIE certification\n
  • Experience with Cisco FEX environments\n
  • Previous enterprise data center migration experience\n
  • Experience supporting high-availability production networks\n
