Job description

  • Support mission architecture analysis for MDA-related systems and mission environments.
  • Develop, review, and maintain system and subsystem requirements.
  • Create functional flows, mission activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and related architecture products.
  • Support system interface modeling and the development of Interface Control Documents (ICDs).

About the Role. At G2 Ops, we support mission-critical defense and technology initiatives by solving complex operational and engineering challenges. We are seeking a motivated, collaborative Systems Engineer to support MDA Mission Architecture Support in Dahlgren, VA.

In this role, you'll contribute to mission architecture analysis, requirements development, systems modeling, and technical documentation while working alongside customer and engineering stakeholders. You'll help develop clear, accurate system views and engineering products that support complex defense mission planning, integration, and decision-making., * 5+ years of relevant systems engineering, mission architecture, requirements, or technical analysis experience.

  • Experience with requirements management, system architecture development, functional flow development, or interface modeling.
  • Ability to create clear system and subsystem-level requirements, diagrams, models, and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an onsite, customer-facing team environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting DoD, MDA, Navy, or other government mission systems programs.
  • Familiarity with mission operations modeling, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, ICDs, or system-of-systems analysis.
  • Experience with MBSE tools, architecture frameworks, or model-based engineering practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Math, Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Compensation & Benefits. The annual salary range for this position is $105,000 - $115,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
