Team Leadership & Stakeholder EngagementLead and develop a team of Salesforce and GTM systems specialists, owning team delivery, prioritisation, and individual growthDrive sprint planning, backlog management, and capacity planning to ensure the team delivers against both strategic initiatives and day-to-day platform supportAct as the primary technical point of contact for senior leadership, translating complex architectural decisions into clear business terms System Architecture & Platform StrategyOwn the Salesforce architecture across our GTM tech stack, defining solution designs, integration patterns, and platform standards that ensure scalability and long-term maintainabilityLead architectural decision-making and provide hands-on guidance to the team throughout delivery - reviewing builds, identifying issues early, and iterating on solutions where neededEnsure systems operate as a connected ecosystem across Salesforce and the broader GTM toolset.Stay current with the Salesforce roadmap and pragmatically incorporate new capabilities into the platform strategy Deployment, SDLC & IntegrationsDesign and implement a deployment process and CI/CD pipeline, establishing version control, release management, and testing standards across the teamOwn end-to-end delivery across the full SDLC - from requirements and solution design through build, testing (unit, integration, UAT), release, and post-deployment supportBuild and maintain integrations via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms such as n8n and ZapierDefine standards for data structure, quality, and consistency, and establish monitoring and failure recovery processes across integrated systems Security, Compliance & GovernanceOwn Salesforce security model (access, permissions, sharing) Ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements (GDPR, data handling)Define practical governance around data, audits, and retentionPartner with IT and leadership on broader security posture and risk management

Key Measures of SuccessPlatform Scalability: Systems support growth without increasing complexity or tech debtSystem Reliability: Integrations operate consistently with minimal disruptionDelivery Predictability: Roadmap initiatives delivered on time with measurable impactData Integrity: High-quality, trusted data across all GTM systemsSecurity & Compliance: Security and compliance standards are consistently met Team Effectiveness: High-performing team with clear ownership and accountability What Makes Someone Successful in This RoleProven experience as a Salesforce Architect or in a senior Salesforce delivery role, with a track record of owning complex, end-to-end implementationsStrong commercial awareness - understands how systems support revenue generationAbility to balance long-term thinking with day-to-day executionConfident working with senior stakeholders and client-facing teamsComfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels, with the credibility to earn trust from both technical teams and senior stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to lead technical teams - setting direction, managing delivery, and developing peopleCurious and forward-looking, with a focus on automation, AI, and scalability Experience & Qualifications7+ years in Salesforce and GTM systems architectureSalesforce Architect certification (Application/System Architect preferred)Deep technical expertise across Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and the Salesforce security and sharing modelExperience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using tooling such as Gearset, Copado, or Salesforce DXExperience designing API-led integrations between Salesforce and downstream systems using modern integration patterns and middleware toolsStrong understanding of security, compliance (GDPR), and governanceBackground in consulting, high-growth B2B, or fast-paced commercial environmentsExposure to cloud platforms, data storage, or data warehousingExperience with vendor evaluation, platform strategy, or system migrations
