Job description
We're looking for a Graduate Data Analyst to join Cosy and help shape how we use data across the business.
This is a hands-on role with real exposure from day one. You'll work closely with our Data Scientist while playing a key part in how we understand performance, make decisions and improve how we operate.
You'll build dashboards, explore data, spot patterns and help turn numbers into clear, useful insight. You'll collaborate with teams across marketing, sales, operations, finance and leadership - translating data into something people can actually use.
We're after someone who's curious, thoughtful and comfortable asking "why?" - someone who enjoys bringing clarity to complexity and communicating it in a simple way.
We're also interested in people who are excited about how modern tools - especially AI - are changing how we work with data.
What You'll Be Doing
· Reporting & dashboards - Designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards used across the business to track performance and answer key questions.
· Data analysis - Writing SQL queries and exploring datasets to uncover trends, patterns and opportunities.
· Working with teams - Partnering with colleagues across the business to understand what they need from data and helping them use it to make better decisions.
· Python & automation - Using Python where it makes sense - for cleaning data, automating tasks and diving deeper into analysis.
· Turning insight into action - Identifying what matters in the data and helping shape clear, practical recommendations - not just reports.
· Improving how we work - Looking for smarter ways to handle data, including using modern tools, automation and emerging AI workflows.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Scripting?, · A degree in a relevant field (e.g. Data Science, Maths, Computer Science, Economics or similar)
· Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
· Experience with Power BI (dashboards, visuals, basic DAX/Power Query)
· Solid SQL skills and understanding of databases
· Comfortable using Python for analysis or scripting
· Strong Excel skills
· Clear communication - both written and spoken
· A proactive, self-starting mindset
· Good attention to detail
Nice to have
· Internship, placement, or project experience with data
· Experience with e-commerce, retail, or marketing data
· Exposure to cloud tools or modern data platforms
· Interest in AI, automation, or improving workflows
· Experience using tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Cursor etc.
· A habit of keeping up with new technology
· A portfolio, GitHub, or examples of your work
Who you are
You're early in your career but already comfortable working with data. You enjoy figuring things out, asking good questions, and getting to the bottom of how things work.
You like turning messy or complicated information into something clear and useful. You're confident sharing ideas with people who aren't technical, and you're keen to take ownership of your work.
You're also naturally curious about new tools and ways of working - and interested in how technology, especially AI, is changing what's possible.
