Job description

we are recruiting for Full Stack Laravel Developer (TALL), Henry Ordering Portal & Digital Transformation Projects at our HQ in Chorley reporting to Commercial Manager., We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Laravel Developer to take ownership of the ongoing development, support, and improvement of our Ordering Portal, while helping drive the company's wider digital transformation initiatives.

This role will focus heavily on maintaining and expanding existing Laravel-based systems, developing new internal tools, improving operational efficiency, and supporting future web-based projects across the business., Ordering Portal Development

  • Maintain, support, and improve the Henry Ordering Portal
  • Develop new features, modules, and workflows
  • Improve portal usability, speed, and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system bugs and technical issues
  • Enhance operational processes through system improvements
  • Support integrations with APIs, third-party systems, and internal platforms
  • Ensure systems remain secure, scalable, and maintainable

Full Stack Development

  • Develop and maintain Laravel-based web applications
  • Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces
  • Develop and improve application logic and backend systems
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Assist with database design, optimisation, and management
  • Carry out testing, debugging, and performance improvements

Digital Transformation & Innovation

  • Support the business in moving towards more efficient digital systems
  • Develop internal tools and automation solutions
  • Help modernise operational workflows through technology
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and process automation
  • Assist in developing future digital products and business systems

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with management and operational teams
  • Translate operational requirements into technical solutions
  • Provide technical recommendations for future projects
  • Support deployment and implementation of new systems and features
  • Maintain technical documentation where required

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, The ideal candidate will have strong experience working within the TALL Stack (Tailwind, Alpine.js, Livewire & Laravel) and be confident managing both front-end and back-end development in a fast-paced operational environment., * Strong experience with:
