Job description
The Computer Technician I or II is responsible for the auditing, testing, configuring, breakdown, shipping, and receiving of all equipment that flows through the warehouse/tech center process. At this level technician will primarily focus on builds and configuring of servers. It is a detailed position that calls for communication with sales, logistics, and management., 1. Configuration and testing of server, storage, and networking orders.

Receiving equipment as needed into inventory.

Management of warehouse inventory including correct warehouse locations.

Order preparation- equipment and software preparation, including updating firmware, wiping disk drives and full refurbishment of equipment.

Audit and testing of servers, storage, and networking after the equipment is received into inventory.

Communicating with sales and logistics regarding order status.

Documenting equipment test reports to ensure quality control.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Operating systems?, 1. Working knowledge and/or direct experience working with computer hardware and understanding of hardware configuration, product options and operating system configurations.

Must have experience configuring hardware in the following platforms. HPE, Primera, Synergy, 3Par, Cisco UCS, Juniper, NetApp, Dell, and or Supermicro.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to prioritize work tasks and time management skills.

Able to work independently as well as in a team environment to achieve company goals, * Computer hardware: 4 years (Required)
