Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our IT team. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams., * Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud networking environments.

  • Configure and troubleshoot network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, servers, etc.).
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and security, ensuring high uptime and reliability.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
  • Collaborate with system administrators, security teams, and vendors to support business operations.
  • Conduct regular network assessments and capacity planning to ensure scalability.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for network-related incidents and escalations.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance network performance and security.

Requirements

Do you have experience in VLAN?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).
  • Hands-on experience with Unify, Cisco, AWS, O365, or similar networking equipment.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring tools.
  • Solid understanding of network security best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred:

  • Relevant certifications.
  • Experience with cloud networking.
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN, VoIP, and wireless technologies.
  • Scripting or automation experience .

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
