- Execute materials and mechanical product testing within a laboratory environment using established testing procedures and equipment.
- Operate and support testing activities involving specialized equipment such as Instron or similar mechanical testing systems.
- Analyze test data, document findings, and generate detailed reports to communicate product performance results to cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product creation, and development partners to support product validation and quality initiatives.
- Assist with test planning, protocol execution, and continuous improvement efforts related to laboratory processes and testing accuracy.
- Support multiple concurrent testing projects while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting project timelines.
- Communicate technical concepts and testing outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to a collaborative lab environment by partnering with engineers, testers, and project teams on product evaluation efforts.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Test analysis?, Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and technically curious Footwear Test Engineer to support product testing initiatives within a fast-paced innovation and development environment. This individual will play a key role in evaluating product performance through hands-on laboratory testing, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering teams. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can confidently translate technical findings into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences while thriving in an evolving and team-oriented setting., * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in laboratory testing, materials testing, product testing, or a related engineering environment.
- Hands-on experience operating mechanical or materials testing equipment is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify technical information for diverse audiences.
- Experience collecting, interpreting, and analyzing test data to support engineering decisions.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to statistical analysis methods and reporting tools is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of biomechanics, CAD systems, or product performance evaluation is a plus.
- Prior experience supporting footwear, consumer products, or athletic product testing environments is highly preferred.
