Job description
The Infrastructure Administrator's role is to ensure the stability and integrity of enterprise infrastructure hardware. This is achieved by configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing both network and server components across the organization. In addition, the Infrastructure Administrator will assist senior infrastructure staff to integrate new technologies and initiatives. This individual will also work collaboratively with the support team to identify root cause analysis and develop tools and technologies to optimize the end user computing environment.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Wireless network deployment projects?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in computer science related field and/or 4 years equivalent work experience.
- Certifications in networking and security fields, such as CCNA, BCNE, and Network+ are highly desirable.
- Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, and wireless networking design and implementation.
- Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
- Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
- Experience and/or knowledge of telephony systems.
- Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards.
- Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Competence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits.
- Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
- Knowledge of HIPAA security regulations.
- Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.
- Highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Firm understanding of computer applications.
- Ability to communicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team.
