Job description
SCCI is seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Analyst to join our team! In this position you will support in a Gun Weapons System (GWS) laboratory environment. The successful candidate will maintain and control access to the MK160 Lab equipment and monitor respective building infrastructure as a whole. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA., * Utilize and maintain software applications within the Jira environment for lab scheduling purposes
- Maintain daily Lab Reservation display system to provide accurate up to-date schedule information
- Serve as scheduling liaison between the MK 160 Lab Team and other MK 160 members for programmatic needs
- Serve as Alternate Custodian in maintaining the integrity and access control of the secure room
- Coordinate with NSWC Dahlgren Base Support and occasional outside personnel with infrastructure maintenance repairs
- Maintain software applications within the Jira environment for all infrastructure maintenance
- Collaborate with MK 160 Hardware Team to ensure all safety related matters in all the lab spaces are in compliance with OSHA and NSWC Dahlgren guidelines
- Communicate to MK 160 Lab Team all GWS lab related issues reported by members of the MK 160 Team
- Provide metrics as requested based on lab utilization and/or infrastructure incidents
Requirements
Do you have experience in Project team coordination?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
- High school diploma
- Knowledge of CM principles, methods, and techniques
- Ability to be proactive and self-driven to deliver high quality results in a fast pace environment
- Hardware/Electronics Technician Certification or Equivalent Experience or Training
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Self-motivated to drive projects to completion with minimal supervision when required
- Ability to plan and coordinate individual assignments to meet project goals
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Familiar with the DoD Acquisition Lifecycle and Systems Engineering processes
- Ability to write procedures and validate technical processes
- Basic Unix command line and scripting experience, shell programming knowledge
- Prefer Basic Python Programming experience
- Basic network switch configuration
