UI/UX Frontend Software Developer

• Develop and implement responsive web pages/applications for legacy and modernized systems using Vue.js.
• Integrate and manage GIS/map layers.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
• Conceptualize original ideas to simplify and improve complex workflows.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate design concepts.

Synertex is seeking a UI/UX Frontend Software Developer with GIS/mapping experience working in a Federal Government, preferably DoD/IC, contracting environment. The Software Developer - UI/UX will plan, develop, and work with designers on a web application and web pages using code and visual design tools. The developer will analyze user needs and develop software solutions for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency., * 3-5+ years of proven UI/UX experience.

• Proven work experience as a Front-end Developer.
• Proficiency with Vue.js and experience with one or more: Angular, Python, Typescript, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML.
• Experience with Docker, GitHub, GitLab.
• Strong UI/UX design and development skills supported by a portfolio.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Ability to present designs and sell solutions to stakeholders.
• Current knowledge of UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Active Top Secret with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph (required for access to classified facilities)., * Experience in DoD/IC environments.
• Strong understanding of user behavior and ability to align business/mission goals with technology.
• Experience with responsive design using HTML, CSS, and design tools.
• Familiarity with SQL databases.
• Ability to implement basic user stories independently.
• Experience creating and modifying graphical user interfaces (GUIs).
• Active or recent TS/SCI with a Polygraph clearance within DoD/DIA, or TS clearance with willingness to obtain a Polygraph.
