IT System Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT System Engineering Manager to join our dynamic IT team in the entertainment company with growth and expansion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system engineering, including system requirements, technical designs, development, test, and delivery, within scope and within budget. The IT System Engineering Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive system engineering and align with strategic goals. The IT System Engineering Manager also document technical specifications, and support strong IT governance in the company., * Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product and technical designs

• Suggest technical alternatives and improve/streamline processes and systems
• Contribute to system engineering planning activities including backlog decomposition, estimating, and sequencing with product owners
• Be a part of a small, focused team using Agile/Scrum to deliver work
• Take ownership of technical quality and improve it over time
• Development of mobile responsive front-end web components using modern web technologies
• Development of server-side components using a Microsoft technology stack
• Development of systems/services to reengineer tasks requested by other departments
• Create tools to support engineering and operations process
• Partner with other IT teams including infrastructure and security to ensure applications are performant and secure
• Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation
• Other duties as directed by upper management time to time

Do you have experience in Software engineering?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or other related fields

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in software development
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented programming concepts and User Interface design
• Proficiency and experience in one or more of the following; Java Script, VBA, SQL, Linux
• Proficient in using Microsoft apps such as Excel using VBA macros
• Working knowledge of design patterns and data structures
• Ability to independently implement a design based on UML diagrams
• Experience in B2C business, using POS systems and SKU product management
• Experience in creating integration between platforms using API documentations
• Experience back office systems using ERP
• Demonstrated good analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and strong logical thinking
• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Japanese language is preferred
