Job description

The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting end users while managing and maintaining core IT systems. This role combines hands-on user support with system administration responsibilities, with a strong focus on identity management, security, and operational reliability., * Provide technical support to users by troubleshooting hardware, software, access, and network issues

  • Support daily IT operations to ensure systems remain available and reliable
  • Procure, configure, deploy, and manage lifecycle of user devices and IT equipment, ensuring all systems are properly built, secured, and compliant prior to deployment
  • Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID user accounts, access, and permissions
  • Manage user lifecycle activities including onboarding, access changes, and offboarding
  • Enforce role-based access control, MFA, and conditional access security policies
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server systems and core infrastructure
  • Perform system patching, updates, and configuration management
  • Manage endpoint devices and policies using Microsoft Intune
  • Configure and maintain device compliance, security baselines, and deployment standards
  • Investigate and respond to system alerts, issues, and security events
  • Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Perform routine maintenance, system checks, and proactive issue resolution
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and SOPs
  • Work with third-party vendors for escalations, support, and implementations
  • Participate in IT projects, system improvements, and technology initiatives

Physical and Working Environment:

  • Office hours are generally from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday but may be adjusted to meet business needs. Position requires that candidate be willing to periodically work off hours to accomplish certain maintenance tasks or very limited after hours support.
  • Usual office working conditions: Noise level in the work area is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises. This position will also support activities in the warehouse and will work in typical warehouse working conditions, including working around machinery with moving parts.
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects. The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc. and may infrequently require moving materials up to 40 pounds. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and the ability to focus.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vendor relationship management?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associates Degree in IT related field or 7 years of relevant work experience, * Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support/administration

  • Experience administering Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365 services including Intune, Defender, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Experience administering and supporting Windows Server environments
  • Experience managing endpoint devices and policies using Intune or similar platforms
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, system, and access-related issues
  • Experience working with ticketing systems and remote support tools
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and support providers
  • Experience documenting systems, processes, and technical procedures
