Job description
We are seeking a hands-on IT professional to support a fast-growing industrial operations company based in the Southeast.
This is a contract-based role supporting multiple business locations through a hybrid mix of remote and on-site work.
The role includes practical IT support across offices, warehouses, and operational environments, including user support, systems administration, hardware deployment, vendor coordination, networking support, and facility technology needs.
Work includes remote support, on-site troubleshooting, and travel between company locations as needed., The candidate will provide IT support services across multiple business locations in the Atlanta market and surrounding areas., End User & Help Desk Support
- Provide technical support for employees across multiple locations
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, scanners, and peripherals
- Assist with new user setup, hardware deployment, and software configuration
- Support onboarding and offboarding from an IT access standpoint
- Resolve day-to-day technical issues professionally and efficiently
Systems & Infrastructure Support
- Support Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace accounts and permissions
- Assist with user access, security groups, and shared resources
- Support networking equipment, wireless access points, switches, and internet connectivity
- Assist with VOIP systems, including RingCentral or similar platforms
- Help monitor system reliability and identify recurring issues
Hardware, Software & Vendor Coordination
- Assist with hardware and software standardization
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment, devices, and licenses
- Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and third-party technology providers
- Recommend practical technology improvements and cost-saving opportunities
Operational & Facility Technology Support
- Support warehouse and industrial technology environments
- Assist with cameras, access control, and facility connectivity
- Troubleshoot tablets, scanners, shared workstations, and operational devices
- Help maintain reliable connectivity across large properties and outdoor areas
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Maintain IT documentation, procedures, and support notes
- Help improve internal IT processes and standards
- Assist with cybersecurity best practices, access control, and user awareness
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, This opportunity is best suited for a mid-level, hands-on IT professional who is comfortable working independently, solving problems, and supporting both office and industrial environments., Required
- 3+ years of hands-on IT support, systems administration, or IT consulting experience
- Experience with Windows environments
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace
- Networking fundamentals: switches, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, IP basics
- Hardware deployment and troubleshooting experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize issues in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Experience
- Multi-site business support
- Experience with UniFi networking equipment
- Experience with VOIP systems such as RingCentral
- Warehouse, industrial, logistics, or field operations environments
- Cybersecurity fundamentals
- Backup systems
- Basic scripting or automation
