As an engineer in the Special Projects group, you will have an opportunity to be part of an innovation-focused organization within Apple that is building UI and visual tooling for model evaluation, testing, and validation. These systems serve the integrations between robotics, generative AI, and data analysis. You will be able to work on highly ambitious, high-reward, and impactful projects in the early stages of development. Build intuitive and delightful web UI using React.js.
Develop reusable components and libraries for long-term scalability. Integrate RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX wireframes and prototypes.
Implement full-stack applications to help accelerate model evaluation, testing, and validation.
Integration with various models to scale up and improve capabilities of systems that employ ML.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Web applications?, Experience with Python and backend development is a plus.
Experience with relational DB is a plus.
Experience with infra stack i.e. Kubernetes is a plus.
Experience with model evaluation pipelines is a plus.
Experience with robotics, embodied AI, or LLMs is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
React.js and/or other web development frameworks.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
Strong and proven software development skills.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Passion for software system architecture, API design, and developer experience.
Excellent team collaboration skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
