Job description
The Information Systems Technician role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The Information Systems Technician will apply communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments., Serve as first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance.
Accurately keeps help desk record of all calls, emails, and help desk tickets.
Performs application troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common application problems.
Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
Upgrade workstation hardware and software components as instructed.
Provide users with hardware and software technical support.
Spend time with system users, talk with users and listens empathetically to their concerns, and provide prompt and courteous responses.
Respond to the needs and questions of users concerning their access of resources on the network.
Adhere to and ensure compliance with all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Follow the official policy for Good Manufacturing Practices as required in the Medical Device Amendments to the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
Provide feedback and pro-active communication to supervisor, management, and co-workers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Contributes input to management based on knowledge of processes toward process and product improvement efforts of the company.
Provide other department and manufacturing support as requested by immediate supervisor.
Process administrative matters without problems to maintain up to date records.

Requirements
Do you have experience in IT department experience?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Associate of Science Degree in computer science or computer engineering and proven experience in information systems related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CompTIA A+ or equivalent hardware experience.
Individual should be familiar with various versions of Windows desktop operating systems.
CompTIA Network+ or equivalent networking experience.
The individual should have working knowledge of and troubleshooting ability for Microsoft Office Applications and products including Outlook, Word Excel and Access.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Human Resource systems; Internet software; Manufacturing software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and user guides. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers as required., * High school or equivalent (Required)
