Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Senior Manager, IT Operations to lead and support all IT functions within a fast-paced pharmacy environment. This role supports approximately 150 users and is critical to maintaining secure, reliable, and compliant technology operations that support patient care and pharmacy services. This position is designated as a full time onsite role in our Culver City office.
This is a "player-coach" role requiring both strategic leadership and hands-on technical execution. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this individual will oversee the full IT ecosystem, including infrastructure, end-user support, cybersecurity, and business-critical pharmacy systems.
This role is responsible for HIPAA compliance as it relates to IT systems, infrastructure, and technical safeguards, including the protection of electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI)., * Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of IT support, including help desk operations, infrastructure, and application support in a healthcare environment
- Ensure high availability and performance of systems supporting a 24x7 pharmacy operation
- Maintain IT documentation, system procedures, and technical policies aligned with HIPAA Security Rule requirements
- Manage IT vendors, including system providers, cloud services, and infrastructure partners
Requirements
Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, * Hybrid Active Directory (on-prem + Azure AD / Entra ID)
- Expert level knowledge of Microsoft 365 - Exchange, Azure / Entra ID (identity governance, conditional access, device compliance)
- MDM solutions: Microsoft Intune and IBM MaaS360
- Google Workspace administration (secure healthcare configurations)
- RingCentral administration
- Microsoft SQL Server management
- Microsoft Hyper-V server management
- Ubiquiti networking, firewall, and Wi-Fi equipment
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012+ DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory services
- Implementation of encryption, MFA, EDR, logging, and monitoring tools
- Solid understanding of laser and thermal printers and print servers, * 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership responsibility
- Demonstrated experience supporting IT systems in healthcare or pharmacy environments including implementing HIPAA compliance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, networks, and applications
- Experience supporting both on-site and remote users
- Strong communication skills, especially in translating technical risks into operational impact
- Availability for 24x7 on-call support
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Azure, Security+, CISSP, HCISPP)
- Experience supporting California-regulated healthcare or pharmacy operations
