Job description
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining Teachers server and storage environments. This role will adhere to industry best practices and support the organizations policies to ensure a resilient infrastructure., * Assists with the daily administration within Teachers infrastructure
- Monitors system performance
- Ensures that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained
- Scopes, researches, and implements additional hardware solutions for Teachers growth.
- Establishes, maintains, and supports Teachers critical infrastructure including but not limited to the following:
- Active Directory
- Fileserver
- Disaster Recovery
- Virtual Machines
- Backup Solutions
- Storage Systems
- Certificate Authority
- Access control responsibilities including user provisioning and removal.
- Documents and maintains processes, procedures, and tasks
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Adheres to the Information Technology/Information Security training plan. Instructs and guides end users on security policies, procedures and best practices.
- Engages with direct supervisor upon discovery of any possible information security risks with any new or existing systems and initiatives.
- Takes necessary action to ensure risk to confidentiality, integrity and availability of data is not increased
- Performs other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor
Requirements
Do you have experience in Research?, * B.S. or B.A. in Information Technology/IT-related field or a minimum of eight years directly related experience required
- Minimum three years' experience working in an information technology or networking related field required.
- Financial institution experience preferred.
- Industry certifications CompTIA A+, CompTIA Server+, MTA, MCSA or above preferred.
- Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize projects.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
- Hands-on experience with common enterprise software and hardware.
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop Administration preferred
- Knowledge of hybrid Datacenter architecture preferred

The good faith range for this position is $32.00 - 38.50 per hour. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
