Job description
The primary responsibilities will be to provide technical support for building computers including workstations, printers, and audio-visual equipment. The tech position will be responsible for setup, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of workstations and chromebooks; and, provide assistance in operating building computers and utilizing network functions. Additionally, the tech position will collaborate with the ESC Help Desk to offer support at the district level. As part of the cohesive support team in the library/media center, this position will collaborate with the Media Center Coordinator to help maintain a safe and productive learning environment within the media center including interacting with students to assist them or enforce behavioral expectations.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Database administration?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, + High school diploma or equivalent, plus post-secondary courses in microcomputer, computer software, and hardware equivalent to one year of college.

One year and up to and including two years of experience in database administration, computer hardware, software and basic knowledge of networking. LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or CERTIFICATIONS:

Criminal background check required for hire.

Recommending ITIL Foundational Certification, v4 or v5 preferred. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

Oral and written communication skills.

Respond to inquiries for technology assistance through phone, email,and help desk system; assign work orders to staff through help desk system.

Ability to work with students with diverse backgrounds and abilities. MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT OPERATING KNOWLEDGE:

Operating knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Operating knowledge of installing, supporting and maintaining Chromebooks, Windows compatible PCs and associated application software

Operating knowledge of and experience with computer hardware and general office equipment, including telephones, managed print services, fax machines, etc. SAFETY TO SELF AND OTHERS:

Recognizes the importance of safety in the workplace, follows safety rules, practices safe work habits, and reports unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator. This position is 8 hours a day Monday through Friday for the 26/27 school year.
