Job description
As an AI Engineer at Salta Group, you work end-to-end: from translating business questions into technical solutions to deploying and monitoring AI applications in production. Depending on your experience level, you will either take ownership of projects independently or help guide technical decisions and mentor colleagues within the AI team.
You work closely with AI engineers, product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to create scalable and reliable AI solutions that add real value to the business.
As an AI Engineer at Salta Group, you are responsible for designing, developing, and managing AI solutions in production. You work across the full lifecycle: analysing datasets and requirements, building and deploying AI applications, and ensuring performance and quality once solutions go live.
You contribute to translating business needs into practical AI use cases and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with both technical possibilities and business objectives.
Depending on your experience and seniority, you may also contribute to technical decision-making, help improve AI architecture and workflows, and coach more junior colleagues within the team.
Your responsibilities as an AI Engineer:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions in production
- Manage AI applications and models throughout their lifecycle
- Design and maintain data and model pipelines
- Monitor performance, quality, and availability of AI solutions
- Translate business questions into technical AI solutions
- Contribute to scalable and reliable AI architecture
- Conduct analyses related to bias, privacy, and compliance
- Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and business stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for improvement in AI processes and workflows
- Support and mentor junior colleagues (senior level)
- Contribute to technical decision-making within AI projects (senior level)
Requirements
Do you have experience in Python?, We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and eager to grow within the rapidly evolving AI landscape., * Have experience in software engineering, data, AI, or a comparable technical field
- Have experience with Python, cloud platforms, APIs, or machine learning / large language models
- Understand the process from development to deployment and production environments
- Enjoy solving technical challenges and translating business needs into solutions
- Communicate easily with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Are eager to continuously learn and stay up to date with AI developments
- Are fluent in Dutch and/or English, both written and spoken
- You are based and living in the Netherlands with residence permit.
- You can work from the office multiple days per week.
